Not a very active or special week, but i did get a taste of things to come. We had a nice tuesday cubs game with them winning against the rockies. Wednesday this week was a great day to soak up the sun and take a couple afternoon fares at navy pier. It is nice to be able to work over by navy pier again. Also, Conan ended up being in town last night and was even kind enough to come out to sign some autographs for fans waiting for a chance just see him post show.
Sadly, i wasnt able to make it down there tonight to get him to sign my pedicab, another time i guess. I instead started to replace the bearings on a company cab with the blume brothers. When i got done sitting in 2 1\2 hour traffic jam, I found out that the place i go for bearings just adjusted their inventory and were in need of restocking common bearing they were out of. The guy was kind enough to send me to another place that was a direct compeditor, but they closed as i walked up to the door and the guy was like "come back tomorrow". So needless to say, I had a nice drive today and am now having a nice evening of rest thanks to the weather.
The plus side is that this weekend's weather looks amazing! Chicago has it's first street fest of the year with mayfest, greenfest at navy pier, and a Hawk's games that if they win Friday and Sunday then they are in the stanley cup!! Can't wait to see what the weekend brings!
